With an impressive 7:1 student-to-teacher ratio, St. Bart’s is able to offer a highly individualized and rigorous educational experience, tailored to each student’s specific needs. For certain critical subjects such as Math and Reading, our students break out into even smaller groups for more specialized instruction.
Our upper school curriculum is designed with an eye on high school readiness. Our graduates consistently place into their top two Catholic high schools of choice, with many receiving merit-based scholarships and awards.

As a private Catholic school, our St. Bartholomew community fosters and celebrates Christian values within an increasingly secular society. With this in mind, our trained educators provide just that -- a vibrant and dynamic learning atmosphere, both inside and outside the classroom setting. Clustered seating arrangements foster peer interaction and collaboration, while the creative use of hands-on learning techniques and cross-curricular instruction help keep students highly focused and engaged.

We accommodate learning differences...
We recognize that all children learn at different paces and have different learning styles and abilities. While small class sizes at St. Bart’s allow our experienced teachers more time to accommodate the unique learning needs of most students, our comprehensive academic program also has the capacity to provide additional special resources and tutoring to those students who benefit from extra support. We also provide additional enrichment to those who benefit from extra challenge.

No one falls through the cracks at St. Bartholomew School because our dedicated and caring teachers really get to know each and every student. Armed with that knowledge, they are quickly able to assess and assist when a child begins to struggle (or thrive) academically, emotionally, physically or socially. Children deserve to feel emotionally safe and supported throughout the school day -- and we are very aware that this sense of security is crucial when it comes to creating an environment that is conducive to learning.
