ST. BARTHOLOMEW
CATHOLIC SCHOOL
Where the rich tradition of Catholic Education lives on in 21st century classrooms
Welcome to St. Bartholomew
Of the many decisions we face throughout our lives, those having to do with our children are most important. I thank you for visiting our website and I look forward to meeting with you personally.
Before becoming principal of St. Bartholomew, I was a Catholic school teacher in the Archdiocese of Washington for 32 years. In addition to teaching at the elementary, middle, and high school levels, I have acted as a counselor and assistant principal for the last 25 and 15 years, respectively. I was a high school admissions director, football and baseball coach, and I have been involved in coaching youth sports, particularly CYO sports, for the last 25 years.
I believe the objective of a Catholic elementary school is to prepare its students for the world they will enter. It does this by giving them a strong foundation in their academic subjects and in their spiritual growth and character development. As educators, our job is to equip our students with the necessary tools to be successful in a rapidly changing world. Here, you will find an incredibly talented and dedicated faculty. I am impressed with their commitment to the mission of St. Bartholomew's and am passionate about supporting their work, and your children.
At St. Bart's our education team shares the same goals: to build upon our strong academic program, to foster healthy relationships and friendships guided by Catholic values, and to strengthen communications between home and school.
When you visit campus please stop in to say hello, my door is always open. Until then, you may reach me at fenglish@stbartholomew.org or by calling the school office at

Warm regards,
Frank English
