Ms. Stone
Assistant Head of School - Academics
I am honored to serve as the Assistant Head of School for Academics at St. Bartholomew School. With more than 24 years of experience serving students and families in the Archdiocese of Washington, I am passionate about helping students, teachers, and families thrive in a faith-filled learning community.
I earned my Master of Arts in Teaching in Elementary Education and have had the privilege of serving in a variety of roles throughout my career, including classroom teacher for grades 4–8, CYO basketball coach, after-school program coordinator, grade-level coordinator, and administrator. Each of these experiences has reinforced my belief that every child can succeed when provided with high expectations, meaningful support, and most importantly, strong, caring relationships.
As Assistant Head of School for Academics, I partner with our faculty to strengthen instruction, align curriculum, and create engaging learning experiences rooted in our Catholic faith, evidence-based practices, the Classical Curriculum, social-emotional learning, and virtue formation. I believe that education is about far more than academic achievement—it is about nurturing the whole child by cultivating curiosity, character, confidence, independence, and the metacognitive skills that empower students to become thoughtful, lifelong learners.
I am grateful to be part of the St. Bartholomew community and look forward to working alongside our dedicated faculty and families to help every student discover, develop, and use the unique gifts God has given them in service to others.

Ms. Ghassabeh
Dean of Administration
As Dean of Administration, I have the privilege of supporting the people, programs, and day-to-day operations that help St. Bartholomew School flourish. While this is my 10th year as a member of the staff, my connection to St. Bart's began much earlier- as a kindergartener in the very early 1990s. After spending my entire K–8 education here, it is especially meaningful to now watch my own children walk the same halls and create memories of their own.
Having experienced St. Bart's as a student, parent, and administrator, I understand what makes this school so special and am committed to preserving the traditions that generations of families cherish while continually strengthening the experience for those who call St. Bart's home today.
Whether working behind the scenes or planning for the future, my goal is simple: to help ensure our teachers have what they need to succeed, our students have every opportunity to thrive, and our families always feel welcomed and supported.

Ms. Laux
Admissions, Marketing, Office Manager
As the new Admissions, Marketing and Office Manager at St. Bartholomew School, I am eager to welcome current and prospective families to our wonderful school and help impact the lives of countless young learners.
From the moment I stepped onto campus, St. Bart’s felt like home, a place where I belong and where I could grow.
I am looking forward to inviting families to share in the same experience. I am so excited to be a Bobcat!
